An additional metre surrounding the perimeter of the castle is preferable.  Over hanging trees and shrubs are often over looked.  We are happy to provide a free measure and quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much room do I need?

We will not proceed with your booking if the weather conditions are unsuitable, ie extremely hot, rain or high winds. There is no cancellation fee for unsuitable weather.  We will contact you in the morning of the booking to discuss the weather with you.  Children’s safety is our priority.

What if it is raining?

Our castles are always securely anchored.  The weather is checked on the morning of the hire date to ensure forecasted winds do not exceed unsuitable speeds (20 kilometres per hour).

If during your hire time, the wind picks up and you become concerned, simply remove all the people, clear the area and deflate the castle and contact us.

How much wind is too much?

It is a good idea to advise your guests you intend hiring a jumping castle.  Guest can dress in appropriate clothing.  Girls will find it easier to jump and/or slide in pants as opposed to a dress or skirt.

We require no belts or clothing with buckles, sharp or protruding embellishments to ensure no damage is caused during the hire period.  

What clothing is suitable?

Like all play equipment, care, supervision and responsibility needs to be taken.  Hiring a jumping castle as a “party babysitter” is not a good idea.

Rules needs to be adhered to.  Respect, responsibility and care are important and everyone will have a great time.  

Are Jumping Castles safe?

For tots, we would say yes.  Some of our clients book the castle half an hour prior to the guest arrive so the family can enjoy a jump first.  Older children have more stamina and depending on your party plans and the number of children you may wish to hire a castle for a longer time.

Is 4 hours enough?

Dry hire is when the venue address is at a private residence and supervised by you and not JuMp! JuMp!  Please inquire at the time of making your booking if you would like us to provide supervision.

What does the term “dry hire” mean?

All castles are made of superior quality lead free vinyl and are inspected and cleaned before and after set up.  Food, beverages, toys or other items are not to be taken in the Castles for safety and hygiene, this includes items such as belts and watches.

Will the castles puncture?

Please contact us and we will endeavour to provide you with our best possible service.   A travel fee may be incurred.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
